The Green Engineer’s Commitment to Equity: Enrolling in the IWBI WELL Equity Rating
On November 30, 2022, The Green Engineer proudly announced its enrollment as an early adopter of the IWBI WELL Equity Rating. This initiative aligns with TGE’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) initiatives, providing a robust framework to enhance policies and operations.
The WELL Equity Rating offers organizations like TGE a structured approach to improving access to health and well-being, celebrating diversity, prioritizing inclusivity, and addressing disparities among traditionally marginalized and underrepresented populations. The WELL Equity seal signifies a commitment to creating environments where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive.
The WELL Equity Rating encompasses over 40 features across six action areas:
- User Experience and Feedback
- Responsible Hiring and Labor Practices
- Inclusive Design
- Health Benefits and Services
- Supportive Programs and Spaces
- Community Engagement
TGE must achieve at least 21 points to earn the WELL Equity Rating.
