In line with our commitment to becoming an anti-racist organization and to combat systemic racism, we have been working to expand professional and educational opportunities to BIPOC students and professionals. As part of this ongoing effort, we are pleased to share that we are currently participating in Mass CEC’s Clean Energy Internship Program, which has created a pilot diversity program to connect students of color with paid internship opportunities within clean energy companies. The objective of this program is to increase and encourage diversity within the Commonwealth’s clean energy workforce. We are pleased to offer an internship position to BIPOC students through this program, and even more pleased to share our first intern through this program starts this month.
We encourage our collaborators, clients, and partners within the AEC industry to join us in creating and expanding both educational and professional opportunities to BIPOC students and professionals. Education and professional opportunity are key to combat systemic racism.
