Massachusetts is the Number 1 State for LEED

Last week, the USGBC revealed its annual “Top Ten States for LEED,” and the big news was that Massachusetts has regained the top spot based on the square footage of newly LEED-certified buildings per capita. Massachusetts had 132 new certifications in 2024, totaling over 34 million SF. Twenty-four of these certifications were projects by The Green Engineer.
